Our Story
Gabriella Finn is the owner and creative force behind Goodies by G, a made-to-order home bakery based in Altoona, Pennsylvania. Her love for baking began in childhood, when she and her mother spent countless hours baking together and watching the Food Network, inspiring her to pursue her dream of owning a bakery.
In 2022, Gabriella attended Indiana University of Pennsylvania Academy of Culinary Arts where she graduated at the top of her class. She completed an internship at Nemacolin Resort, gaining hands-on experience supplying breads and pastries for restaurants, weddings, banquets, and large events — including preparing desserts for a Thanksgiving buffet serving over 500 guests.
Building on her education, she earned a bachelor’s degree in hospitality management from the Indiana University of Pennsylvania, graduating in May 2025. Shortly after, she launched Goodies by G in June 2025.

Gabriella is passionate about the precision and creativity that baking allows. From her best-selling blueberry muffins — a local favorite that rarely lasts long on any table — to custom cakes designed for birthdays, bridal showers, and other special occasions, each order is crafted with care and attention to detail.
Her baked goods are stocked weekly at Main Street Mercantile in downtown Bellwood, where she rotates fresh items every Tuesday to keep offerings exciting and seasonal.
Beyond her own recipes, Gabriella is also reviving a piece of family history by perfecting the cherished Penn Gables dinner roll and pizza dough recipes created by her great-grandparents, with plans to make them available soon.
